STRETCHMARK AND SCAR REVISION AFTERCARE
You are now in the healing stage of your epidermal resurfacing process. The first 7-14 days are the most crucial to your skin healing correctly, it is extremely important that you undertake all steps and instructions.
Your hands MUST be clean before coming into contact with your skin throughout the entire healing process. Hand washing is a must!
Day of procedure
Keep areas wrapped for at least 4 hours after your procedure (If area is able to be wrapped)
4 hours after your procedure cleanse the area with a gentle body wash (e.g. Cetaphil)
Do not take anti-inflammatory or blood thinning medications for the next 24 hours
Redness, swelling, tightness, feeling of being sunburnt is a normal reaction
Avoid all things hot: sauna, hot tub, sweating etc.
Apply your aftercare serum twice daily or as required to keep area hydrated
Wear loose clothing and sleep on clean bed sheets
Day 1-7
You can shower 12 hours after procedure, it is advised to use a gentle soap free body wash. Continue to cleanse the area 1-2 times daily
Apply aftercare cream twice a day
Avoid direct sun exposure for 30 days - after 30 days apply sunblock to the area during any sun exposure
Redness, swelling and tenderness will being to improve
Dry/ dead skin and light scabs will begin to shed - allow to shed naturally do not pick
Itchiness will occur - avoid scratching the area
Avoid all things hot: sauna, hot tub, sweating etc.
Exercise can resume on day 4
Day 8-14
Continue aftercare cream twice a day
Redness, swelling and tenderness should have completely subsided
Itchiness may continue - avoid scratching the area
Post inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) is expected and normal
Avoid sun exposure for 30 days
Week 3-6
Continue applying aftercare cream for 4 weeks or until cream is gone
Post inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) should completely clear by week 6

Must wait a minimum of 6 weeks before your next resurfacing procedure
Continue to apply aftercare cream for 4 weeks or until jar is finished.
Note: After 4 weeks use sunscreen when treated areas are exposed to the sun
